ABOUT TSMSDC
TSMSDC History & Purpose
The Tri-State Minority Supplier Development Council, or TSMSDC, creates meaningful partnerships between corporate members in the public sector and certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs). The organization isresponsible for certifying minority-owned businesses located in Kentucky, West Virginia or the Indiana counties of Clark, Floyd and Harrison.
The organization was launched locally in 1984 as the Louisville Minority Purchasing Council later to become the Kentuckiana Minority Supplier Development Council.
TSMSDC is one of 39 affiliate councils of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) (link to www.nmsdc.org)—the nation’s premier minority business membership organization as the largest certifying organization for minority firms and the organization that most major corporations accept for certification.
TSMSDC is a non-profit 501( c )3 business to business networking organization with over 100 members and 350 certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and operates from offices in both Louisville, Kentucky and Lexington, Kentucky.
