MBE CLIENTS
MBEs joining TSMSDC are considered “clients” and benefit from being associated with an organization entirely focused entirely on connecting minority business to corporate and public service procurement opportunities. TSMSDC functions as a business matchmaker, connecting clients with corporate members committed to doing business with certified MBEs.
Quality Business Connections
- Exceptional networking through events such as the annual TSMSDC Business Opportunity Fair, Annual Meeting and Connections program put MBEs in direct contact with corporate procurement professionals.
- Exposure to opportunities locally and nationally through inclusion in regional and national procurement databases.
- TSMSDC’s certified MBEs receive access to an exclusive password-protected section of the www.TSMSDC.biz website that contains RFP’s, RFQ’s and bids listed by corporate members.
- Meet and connect with certified minority firms seeking to do business with other MBEs—a great way to grow your business, help other MBE firms and keep dollars in the regional economy
Credibility & Integrity
- Trusted and reliable certification through TSMSDC creates more significant opportunities for MBE business growth as most corporations with supplier diversity programs require detailed tracking and documentation of procurements made from MBE firms.
- Receive reciprocal certification with any of the other 38 regional councils with access to corporations in neighboring councils such as those in Ohio, Tennessee, Indiana and Illinois. The reciprocal certification also gives clients access to programs, events and notices with the respective councils.
- As an NMSDC regional council, TSMSDC certification provides national recognition and the opportunity to join a very diverse group of entrepreneurs from several ethnic backgrounds, including Native American, Hispanic American, Asian American and African American constituents.
Professional Expertise & Leadership
- The TSMSDC staff is comprised of career professionals with many years of experience in corporate America. They understand how business works and are committed to facilitating positive outcomes for all MBE clients and corporate members.
